  1. As someone who lives a few miles north of Luton airport (a nimby, I suppose), do you reckon it’s possible to arrange a regular thing with the Icelanders? At a certain time every year they throw a bit of snow on a volcano and OH NO the flights stop? It’s BLISS. It is also, lets be fair, something we would unequivocally regard as a wonder of nature if not for the whinges ringing in our ears.

    I was speaking to someone who knows someone from there and he said it is all a bit weird living in fear that the big one will go off sooner or later.
