Quote for indeterminate time period
"The truth is so often the reverse of what has been told us by our culture that we cannot turn our heads far enough around to see it."
- Howard Zinn

I have suggested similar measures myself on occasion, but never under such a brilliant post title.

This article now also appears at dissident voice

any comments about the Muslim teachings on homosexuality?
not a fan of them
Sick. I can remember the arrogance of humble catholic parish priests when I was married into a catholic family. “We are catholics. We are better”.
Luckily the Popes opinion is just that, an opinion. A loopy one, more aimed at the conservative base than changing minds. In fact it will likely increase resistance from non believers or followers of faith.
lay down their dna in sequins….don’t eat gay animals on a friday…. Christmas has done you no harm sir… fantastic stuff

Gay people are terrible, long live the new pope.
Enjoy sucking your shit-covered dicks.

Excellent … love it … and also thoroughly enjoying the rest of your very fine blog, sir, on this my first visit!
I came here … excuse the pun, especially on this topic … via Big Rab’s fine blog, and have downloaded your Nepal book, and look forward to reading it later tonight
