It is certainly very hot and dry here in South Australia, but it is wet along the east coast. Unfortunately most of that flows to the sea. It would be good to keep some as it eventually ends up here from the River Murray. It is hard to give credence to some of the deniers.

Don't you think mandating flourescent lightbulbs and stronger CAFE standards for autos somewhere in the future will fix the problem, she said sarcastically. Did you see the Greensumption thing on you tube?

You can add to your list: tornadoes in Wisconsin in January. If you're not familiar with the state of Wisconsin it's a northern tier state right next to Canada. Usually it's below zero there in January and covered in snow. The big weather phenomenon this time of year is blizzards. Just last week, in fact, they got around 20 inches in that area of the state. And tornado season is summertime. Definitely something weird going on. Nobody I've talked to can recall a tornado in January or ever having heard their ancestors tell of one. (Also, please feel free to use the 'CHANGE' pic. Happy to hear you like it. Best,...Neil)
