But what about people who work in arms factories, directly creating the bullets and bombs etc that rain down on innocent people during war? Are they not complicit? Where is their conscience? The need to eat and survive is probably more pressing for working class people than holywood actors I suppose and a justification can be made for them. But I suppose my main point is that we all collude with the state in capitalists societies; I suppose it is to what extent we help them achieve their ends. I've watched movies that made me think that if I were that actor...I would never have done that part because of conscience. It may only be a part...just a movie...but some things just shouldn't be done anyway. I know someone has to play the bad guy...but some things are just terribly obvious...and just plain odious.
